Our firm is growing and we are looking for a dedicated Advisor to join our team. For any Advisor, finding the right fit in a firm is critical to success, and we developed this brochure that shares how we view wealth management, client service, and our role in serving the needs of high-net-worth families.
Position Overview: The Advisors day-to-day responsibilities will include servicing new clients as well as servicing existing high-valued clients. This individual will be primarily responsible for financial advice including portfolio analysis and research with frequent client-facing activities. This position requires an individual who has a thorough knowledge of the financial services business and who is committed to being part of a team that delivers a comprehensive client solution. This individual will assist with the daily functions of a fast-paced, multi-priority area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build rapport with clients, assess their needs, and present relevant features and benefits of company’s services
- Proactively reach out to clients who haven’t had recent contact with BAMG
- Respond to client e-mails and phone calls meeting their advice needs with excellence
- Prepare for, participate in, and follow-up to client reviews
- Attend staff meetings and continuing education sessions to stay current about products, services and policies
- Comply with all industry rules and regulations
- Review, approve and monitor required trading and allocation activities, as applicable
- Assist in the development of Operations and Junior Advisors to enable them to assume responsibility for a broader range of operations
- Ability to articulate the story of the practice and identify ideal qualified prospects
- Assess any insurance opportunities
- Work with Operations on client documentation, client meeting preparation and process
- Participate in team weekly and monthly meetings
- Participate in annual business planning strategy as requested
- Ability to create a sales and marketing strategy for new high-net-worth client relationships
- Full knowledge of investment management philosophies, products and providers
- Build client relationships based upon developing strategies tailored to their financial goals through the use of firm’s wealth management models
- Analyze investment opportunities and client needs, and recommend appropriate strategies
- Compile and analyze client data to develop long-term strategic plans
- Develop asset allocations strategies, including alternative investments
- Conduct tax gain/loss analysis
- Formulation of investment policy for each client
- Deepen existing client relationships – attract outside assets from existing clients
- Leverage local centers of influence to extend referral network
Specific Investment Related
- Design, implement, administer, and manage the investment program and process
- Analysis and selection of investments including mutual funds, exchange traded funds, fixed income, alternatives, etc
- Maintain awareness of domestic and international trends and events impacting the investment process
- Implement decisions on deploying capital across the varying asset classes
- Evaluate and review asset allocation, risk, investment strategy and other investment decisions on an ongoing basis to ensure optimal performance
- Research, due diligence, analysis and selection of third-party money managers, fund companies, etc
- Develop, maintain and manage preferred partner relationships
- Oversee investment manager performance

Educational and Experience Requirements and Preferences
- CFP® certification or coursework towards. CFA & CPA also desirable
- Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree preferred (MBA, JD)
- Series 65 securities registration
- 5-7+ years of experience in a financial service sales or equivalent position with track record of success
- Proficiency with MicroSoft Office suite
Physical Job Requirements
Bending/ Kneeling: Ability to bend to lower-level cabinets. Bend to files in cabinet as needed.
Continuous Sitting: Ability to sit for up to 8 hours a day at desk working on computer.
