Phil joined Brand Asset Management Group in 2004 and has 30 years of experience in the investment industry. In 2021, Phil’s commitment to BAMG was recognized when he became a partner in the firm.

Phil earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Millikin University in 1991 and received his MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis in 2003. He obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2007. Phil earned the AIF® designation in 2013. Attainment of the AIF designation demonstrates understanding of the Prudent Practices® and methodology.

Phil chairs the Board of Trustees for the Lutheran Hour Ministries Foundation. He enjoys devoting his free time to family, travel, golf, and watching college football.

CLIFF AQUE, AIF®, CFA®
Investment Analyst

Cliff joined Brand Asset Management Group in 2022 as an Investment Analyst with twenty years of previous experience. Previously, he directed due diligence on public and private investment strategies, created model portfolios, and led research on fixed income and liquid alternatives. Most recently, Cliff served as an asset class expert on real assets and alternatives.

He received his BA in Government and English from Georgetown University and his MBA in Finance from DePaul University. He is also a CFA® charterholder. Cliff earned the AIF® designation in 2023. Attainment of the AIF designation demonstrates understanding of the Prudent Practices® and methodology.

Cliff was born and raised in Chicago and moved his family to St. Louis to join the team. Outside of work, he enjoys reading and spending time in nature with his six kids and his wife, Colleen.
