A Few Good Reads
Each day, our team consumes tens of thousands of words on markets and COVID-19. Some of the data is from industry publications, some from national news outlets, some have been shared with us by you! Here are several pieces we found quite interesting and worth passing on. Our hope is that you find encouragement in them. |
Video commentary from Brian Wesbury (11m) Brian is an economist we’ve followed closely over the last 10+ years. The last two minutes are relevant for market pricing. The top 12 bear markets and their recovery (3m) As of 3/18, we are experiencing the 13th worse bear market. What would Jack Bogle do? (9m) An imaginary interview with legendary founder of The Vanguard Group. A fiasco in the making (14m) Stanford scientist on decision making in the absence of reliable data. As you are well aware, we are a “glass half full” group around here with a firm belief that, as Americans and as investors, we will get through this challenge. More data that is both good and interesting is coming out daily but it can be a bit of a hunt to track it down. We’re anxious to see each of you and talk to you within six feet. In the meantime, we’ll attempt to keep abreast of the data and do our best to manage portfolios with discipline. |
